Hello and Blessings
My name is Alana. I’ve been a licensed practicing massage therapist since 2005. I have a respectful appreciation for the healing arts as both a practitioner and recipient. My focus has been Deep Tissue and treatment work the majority of my career.

I have been a massage therapist for 14 years. I specialize in treatment-based massage, goal-setting, and body balancing. I’m also a certified sound healer. In my practice, I bring the healing powers of sound and frequencies into treatment sessions, deepening the healing process. Throughout my years of practice, I have found great gratitude in watching my clients heal on their journey.
- What is your greatest gift as a lymphatic therapist, and what inspires your passion for helping others heal?
My greatest gift as a lymphatic therapist is giving each client a safe place to heal. I’ve been on my deep healing journey for the past 8 years. Seeing how spiritual and deep lymphatic drainage is to the body and soul has ignited a deeper passion within me to help others on their journey and to reach the level of healing they desire.
What you believe your natural gift is as a therapist.
I believe my natural gift as a therapist is my ability to be intuitive while I work. Connecting with each client, listening to their needs and the body’s needs individually, and creating an individual treatment plan for each client I see.
What clients can expect when they are on your table. How you create a safe, compassionate, and healing experience. Why helping people restore their health is meaningful to you.
Clients that come to see me can expect a therapist who is ready, focused, and passionate about meeting their goals, whether it’s lowering swelling, healing from childbirth or surgery, and most importantly, someone wanting to feel good in their own body. I’m here to help you achieve that goal. I provide a safe place where you can share your story and you will be heard and seen. Focused, intuitive, yet compassionate work to help the nervous system to feel safe and secure in order for you to relax and heal. With the stresses of daily life, we all need a place to stop and let go, this is it. I have been a massage therapist for 14 years. I have spent a lot of time setting goals and reaching goals but missing key points in my clients’ treatment plans. I also knew that there was something missing in my own treatment and my own healing journey. It wasn’t until I came here to Cohesive Therapy and saw the beauty of lymphatic drainage, the deep healing that it provides people on a spiritual, emotional, and mental level, that it is so meaningful. This work is so meaningful to me because it literally transforms the soul and spirit into what your soul and spirit are intended to be. And that is absolutely beautiful. That is why this work is so meaningful. That is why healing is so beautiful. And we are here to provide this for you.

- Why did you choose to become part of Cohesive Therapy Healing & Rejuvenation and the Gepina Method mentorship program?
I became a part of Cohesive Therapy Healing & Rejuvenation and the Gepina Method mentorship program because, upon my interview, I saw that Cohesive Therapy had something very deep and beautiful happening. The heart that goes into this business is pure , true and loyal to every human being that walks through that door whether they are a client or an employee or a friend . They see each human as a whole and not just parts. The goals that they set in every Journey that they offer is pure of heart. And I wanted to be a part of that. I felt that my work was missing something, and this was it. And I wanted to be a part of the mentorship program to better help myself, my family, and every other person that I come into contact with in my life. After 14 years of going from chiropractic office to chiropractic office and ending up working for myself, I honestly believe I was just a lost soul roaming this Earth trying to find my place, and here I am at Cohesive Therapy. I have found my place, and I want to give that to everyone that I work with. Because we all deserve our place.
What attracted you to the Cohesive Healing Center? Why advanced education and continual mentorship are important to you. How our specialized training allows you to better serve clients. Your commitment to continually growing your knowledge and clinical skills so you can provide the highest standard of lymphatic care.
I was attracted to the cohesive Healing Center because I wanted to give more . And I found that the type of massage work that I was doing was fulfilling but it wasn’t enough I needed more and I felt stuck with the limited tools that I had in my toolbox and I felt my clients deserved more than what I could give and I didn’t know how to. Advanced education is extremely important because as massage therapist we tend to get stuck in these routines that may not serve our clients well. Getting stuck in routines so cause burnout for the provider which also will limit the effects of their work with each client. And if we as providers fall behind on fine-tuning our intuition, fine-tuning our touch and our healing ability, we are not serving ourselves well nor are we serving our clients well. Advanced education and continuing mentorship will provide everything that a provider needs to maintain a healthy and positive mindset, keep them ignited in the passion that got them into this field, focused on the real goals at hand and will keep that provider moving forward on their knowledge, their education, and continue to provide each and every client the best healing experience that they can receive for themselves. And that will then trickle down to everyone in that client’s family and life therefore bringing abundance to the client’s life and provider. My commitment to continually growing my knowledge and clinical skills so I can provide the highest standard of lymphatic care is strong, and at the highest standard I can hold for myself and every other provider I work with. It takes a strong team that believes in each other, one that supports each other to create an astounding healing environment with results. This is my goal for my career and every client I see, along with the overall goal of cohesive therapy and rejuvenation.
- Which clients are you most passionate about helping, and why should a client feel confident choosing you?
I am most passionate about working with clients who feel lost, who feel stuck, who have been on their healing Journey for so long and have done everything they could, and this is their last resort. I love giving every client hope, strength, and boosting their self-esteem. We all deserve to feel comfortable and beautiful in our bodies no matter the size, no matter the procedure, no matter the condition; we all deserve this, and I love giving that to my clients. I want and wish for my clients to feel confident choosing me knowing that I am dedicated, confident and passionate my career, about them reaching their healing goals, for them to become the person that they have been intended to be, to inspire them to be the brightest shining star out there in this universe and to radiate confidence, happiness and dwelling in peace inside of their bodies with their spirit and soul feeling complete. You deserve this!
Tell us about:
The types of clients you especially enjoy working with (plastic surgery recovery, cosmetic procedures, lymphedema, lipedema, autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, mothers, wellness and preventative care, etc.). What makes your approach unique. How you help clients feel supported, understood, and cared for throughout their healing journey. What you hope every client feels when they leave your treatment room.
I enjoy working on clients after plastic surgery, I love working on mommy’s who are wanting to get their bodies back in shape, men and women who need an overall body reset to get themselves back in line to reach their health and fitness goals, people with autoimmune that are tired of dealing with the sluggish feeling of inflammation, the tight skin from the inflammation, the overstressed worker that just needs to stop and let things go or the clients that is just continuing their maintenance to keep them moving forward with her fitness or well-being goals. My approach to each and every client is unique because I provide them with active listening skills, and with those listening skills I provide a treatment plan within their Journey that will help them reaching towards their goals that they want for themselves. I am an intuitive worker; our bodies share stories, and I am able to see that story, share that with the client, and adjust the treatment plan accordingly to what the body needs. I have the ability to communicate changes, informed consent, and tasks during the treatment session with each individual client. Due to having these abilities, I am able to create a safe environment for each client knowing that they’re going to come in and receive the treatment that they and their body needs and deserves in a space that is comfortable, secure, protected and safe for them with the knowledge that I have from my 14 years in the field; along the education that I am obtaining with Geppina. This is deepening my confidence in my work so that I can provide everything each client needs within their 1-hour, 2-hour, or 3-hour session. I hope that when my clients leave that treatment room and leave our facility, they too have the confidence in the work that they received so they can continue their healing Journey with us here at Cohesive Therapy and Rejuvenation Center. Whether your visit be for lipedema, lymphedema, plastic surgery recovery , autoimmune symptoms and just overall health well-being . They know that their time and their money are going to be well spent and well deserved. That is my goal as a provider for everyone that walks through our door and leaves after their visit.
